Privacy Policy

This describes, in plain language, what QuantAim collects and why. This draft is a starting point for legal review, not a finished policy.

What we collect

Account information: name, email, and (for Academy) an age bracket used only to place you in an appropriate learning profile.
Usage data: lesson progress, quiz answers, time spent on lessons, simulated portfolio activity, and gamification stats (XP, streaks, badges).
For paid plans: subscription and billing status (processed by Stripe — we do not store your card details ourselves).

Why we collect it

To run the product: showing your progress, adapting content to your learning profile, and tracking gamification.
To improve the product: understanding which lessons and features are actually used.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

QuantAim Academy offers age-appropriate learning profiles, including for younger learners. [DRAFT NOTE: this section needs legal review — if the platform has any users under 13, COPPA requires verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from them; that requirement doesn't disappear when a technical enforcement mechanism is removed, it just means it isn't currently being met in-product.]

Schools (FERPA)

Where QuantAim is used through a school or teacher account, student progress data may be visible to that student's teacher for the classes they've joined. [DRAFT NOTE: FERPA's "school official" exception, data retention after a school year ends, and district-level data agreements all need legal review before this section is final.]

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or request account deletion at any time from the Privacy Center.
